I’m most interested in the smaller subs on Reddit, like ArchViz, Blender, some others, and regional sites–state and city level. Lemmy just doesn’t have much activity on such comms, so I’m still on Reddit for that. I split my time about 60/40.

My wife cheated on me. That was lucky because, when her family found out, she was humiliated, and didn’t demand that I sell the house to give her half, she just walked away. Had she not cheated, and just divorced me, I likely would have been forced to sell the house at the bottom of the market. We would have each gotten less than $10,000.

Now, the mortgage is nearly paid off, and the house is worth three times what it was when we divorced.

I want them to fight to the death in an arena. There’s about 800 of them in America. We could set up a tournament bracket, there are plenty for every city to get a live performance. If they refuse to fight, they’re both beheaded. The whole thing would be televised. Viewership would break world records. The champion gets life in prison.

It would start here, but like any good reality show, it would expand worldwide.

It would stay active, when two people are discovered to be in control of over a billion–because you know they won’t be able to resist, and they’ll do their best to hide it, thinking they’ll get away with it–they’ll be rounded up and paired off.

It’s already impossible to be anonymous on the internet. Our governments just want it to be cheaper and easier to track us, so they can scare us and oppress us if they want to. Also, billionaires want to sell us more crap we don’t want or need, and use their bots to keep us divided and ignoring how much they’re stealing from all of us, all of which is easier if they know exactly who we are and what we’re doing at all times.

But, you know, no lengths are too far because it’s “for the children”. We all know how much our governments and billionaires care about our children.

Mad at your government, but still leave Bluesky, just don’t leave angry.

Also, it’s just a matter of time for other governments to do the same. They’re already working on it in the U.S.

Finally, an answer that makes sense.

No, the light could still be above the mattress on the ceiling at the bottom of the stairwell. This proves nothing.

But, the wear on the carpet indicates to me that those are the treads, so this is taken from the top of the stairs looking down. Also, not mentioned elsewhere, there is usually a nose on the treads and the carpet would follow the nose, which can’t be seen from above.
