Ah who cares. One must NEVER dare to speak against breeding. To me it’s child-abuse to throw kids knowingly into poverty. But to most people it’s their birthright to procreate and they love doing it. You’re not fulfilled until you have offspring. Just be glad you’re not one of them and simply THINK before. Even if the result might not be what you guys want.

My initial comment was meant cynically. “Filthy rich” surely doesn’t apply to someone that can feed some people without budgeting. That is not living, that is survival. Here (Germany) we’d say you’d need about 250k for a kid til it gets 18. Working-class-level. It gets waaaay higher with private schools and such. And we don’t even pay for healthcare (unless you want to) nor college. 4 kids comes to a mil. And that’s just the kids. Parents are likely living some place and maybe even have hobbies besides working and kids (though probably not with that many kids)

I was referring to a level of “filthy rich” where you have that amount of cash for each kids AND yourselves. And in the case of the USA even another 100k (or whatever) for each kid’s college. And oh boy will all that money go to waste if one kid ends up sick. And maybe your kid wants to go to some famous school or want a pony or become a skydiver.

But hey, to each their own. I wouldn’t even find the time for a job with all my hobbies, let alone one single kid 😁

Then, this question comes to mind, why do you have 5 kids?

I’ve got way more money than I’d ever need but would still consider myself not loaded enough to have ONE kid, let alone two or even more. And I live in a place with universal healthcare and a social safety net. Kids are fucking expensive. And I would want my kids to have EVERY chance at this world. And this world, especially the USA, is made against the poor(-ish). They shall not rise.

Lol yes, I get that often regarding the language. Though I learned English in school (in the 90s) I never needed it back then and sucked at it. But due to my love being the IT I had to learn-by-doing. Setting everything to English, watching and reading everything in English etc. Up to the point that I often even talk with my wife in English. We often sound like fucking immigrants with a horrible kraut-accent 😁

It’s the same here BTW with those “seculars”. Most of the Christians here aren’t really religious and probably never saw a church from the inside. Though that might seem harmless, they still fuel a system that keeps the system retrograde and moribund. Not to the extend of Islam maybe but still. I despise religion from the depths of my being. Might’ve been 14, I don’t really remember exactly. And it was the CC attached to my company’s bank-acc so the bank wasn’t that nitpicky. It were simpler times in many aspects. But the fascination of online-shopping only grew slightly less great in my 30s 😁

Haha I remember that time too well. Luckily I had a CC and I bought everything on the net back then and was so fascinated by it. Typing a number in and getting stuff. I ordered crap from the other side of the world, it was incredible. Yes, porn included. How could one resist that temptation back then, I was 12 or so 😁

Maybe not specifically PH but porn actually always was the driving force for the net since day 1. We don’t have high speed net now because someone needed to download a linux-distro quicker. Or google harder. YouTube and vimeo and such came waaaaaaay later. There also were no social media where people needed to upload large dog-pics. It was porn. And I vividly remember the times where you had to wait for a long while to see your image grow line by line until you finally maybe saw said tit, and it surely - and hopefully - wasn’t a bird 😁

Victims of abuse most often can’t “just leave”. It’s not always that simple. It just appears simple to people far outside of abuse, having neither experienced nor witnessed it. Or, the rare case, are victims of survivorship bias, because they were in the miniscule percentage of people successfully leaving abusive enviromnente AND be smug about it afterwards. As someone working with abuse victims, it’s really never a “then just leave!”

As to the jew-topic: I have a very deep disdain for religion/cults. As they’re the epitome of evil to me and most often, if not the source, the the justification for tremendous violence, injustice, sexism, racism and whatever else *isms on this rotten planet. So, while I don’t like what the Israelis do, I don’t mind at the same time. It’s child-abusers killing other child-abusers. And mysognists for free on top. Couldn’t cheer for one side. The hipocrisy of it is what drives me nuts. I grew up learning how bad we are for what we did one-two generations before. And now they do the same and still play the victim- or antisemitism a card.

To be clear: I dont care for people’s beliefs. The organized crime, errrr church it is what I despise. This fucking tribalism.

‘Maddening’ seems like a good fit. And the joker (using the latest movie as base) also fits well the open eyes in a dark world. How else to cope if not with dark humor. Fuck, I’m sorry to hear that dude. I always cuss at our local injustices here towards handicapped and whatever else, but then I hear/read something from you guys and it all seems relatively grear again. Like our saying “complaining on a high Niveau”. We are far from perfect (and even drift in the wrong direction), but, in principle, we have a social/medical net. Homeless people, in theory, get their welfare, everyone does who can’t work. We were even close to the much better solution “universal income”.

Homelessness being illegal is one of the most dystopian things there could be. But probably helps greatly in getting cheap labour punishing bad people for their crimes.
