I used to get that a lot. I was constantly carded. Once they wouldn’t sell to me, even with my ID, because I had the babysitter with me and they thought we were both underage trying to buy alcohol. When I was about 25 I started adding10 years to my age when people asked, just to see the reaction.

No. I said this is a very poor area and many people are just trying to survive. Many are likely happy to have any job that allows then to support their families. People think it’s only white Republicans doing these jobs. The Rio grande valley is like 85% Latino. As someone else mentioned, border patrol and ice are not the same.
This is sad. It sucks. You want to say that violence isn’t the answer, but it’s easy to see how people hit their breaking point. ICE agents kidnapping people is horrible. McAllen is poor. The people who work in that ICE facility are likely just happy to have a job with benefits that feeds their families.
I have no sound, voice, or pictures in my head. I didn’t know that other people did see/hear things until a couple of years ago. Thoughts just come in chunks.
Does the tramadol make you itchy? I take it for a shoulder injury and it’s driving me crazy! I have some astepro nasal spray that’s disgusting and didn’t help at all. Tried it topically and think it might have helped a bit. Benadryl topical definitely made it a little less irritating.
