Hey comrades 😍,
It’s been a minute since I last posted … the internet where I’m at has been super spotty, and honestly, things have been really rough.
About three weeks ago, we got attacked in the camp just for being trans. They burned down our shelters. My sisters got hurt trying to run away, and we’ve been stuck in the hospital since then … it’s the only place that would take us in. We don’t have much, but we have each other, and that’s been everything.
Thanks to some amazing people who stepped up, we covered emergency medical care. I honestly don’t have words for how grateful we are … you helped save lives.
So far, we’ve raised $500 out of the $750 we need to move into a safe apartment in Juba. Right now, we’re still stuck in this hospital, waiting. Just $250 more and we can finally get out and have a place to breathe and heal.
If you can help out, or even just share this post, it would mean the world to us.
Thank you for sticking with us, even while I’ve been quiet.
With all my love and hope, Onandrah
