Dialog — a secretive, invite-only network founded two decades ago by Peter Thiel and Auren Hoffman, the star investors and entrepreneurs — is preparing a major expansion, including a real estate purchase to build a campus in the D.C. suburbs, a tipster familiar with the group’s plans tells Axios.
Why it matters: Dialog, often compared to a tech-era Bilderberg, has quietly become one of the most elite, and mysterious, gatherings for CEOs, elected officials, and intellectual heavyweights.
Dialog leaders are in active discussions to buy a physical venue in Virginia, just outside Washington, to serve as a permanent hub for its off-the-record meetings, the tipster says.
The decision to buy land, then build, within commuting distance of the capital shows the group isn’t just kissing President Trump’s ring, but plans to be engaged in Washington long after this term.
I was like “who is Auren Hoffman?”
Oh, how unique. Another piece of shit that made his money using technology to exploit humans, and now feels entitled to power and increased exploitation.
It’s so crazy to watch the embodiment of privilege attempting to dismantle a democracy, and sadly doing very well at it. People like this are the kind of people that never hear no. They will just keep taking more and more until somebody makes them stop.
Everything Peter Thiel touches should be treated like it’s diseased, bc it is. It’s been contaminated by him, and the contamination will always spread until he is contained. That means as long as people continue to do business with him and his associates, as long as people continue to invest in him, and as long as we continue to support businesses associated with genocide and elect people who are invested in Thiel, we are helping to normalize and spread the disease.
It’s one thing to know people like Vance and Stephen Miller are making money from investments with Thiel, but Democrats investing in Palantir while pretending to be part of a resistance or taking a stand against genocide (while also profiting from it) should be a big fucking no! It should be considered a forfeiture of your elected position.
Julie Johnson almost immediately sold her shares in June right after the news of congressional Palantir investments was released. Why haven’t the other Democrats on that list?
Ro Khanna bought $8000 of Palantir Technologies Inc (PLTR:US) on 2025-04-23
Gil Cisneros serves on the Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs Committees, overseeing areas where Palantir’s technology is heavily utilized, such as military logistics and healthcare modernization.
So much of the problem at the root of this is the mythology around America as a democracy. Like, when you think about the OG Continental Congress and Constitutional Convention, what you’re describing really is a bunch of rich fucks huddled together in a conference room, plotting to rewrite the legal foundation of their nation in secret.
What you’re taught is to envision this as some grand forum of intellectuals gathering together to charter a liberal utopia. Not a bunch of business goons plotting to hijack an enormous strip of coastal real estate via propaganda and espionage.
The Liberal Peter Thiel Cronies are better than the Conservative Peter Thiel Cronies. And if you don’t agree, you’re probably working for Russia.
Nobody can excuse continuing to invest in Palantir anymore. Even if you could have fooled yourself at one point into thinking it didn’t matter, here’s an official report explaining why it’s wrong.
