Anyone who was like “taking away the ability to strike is nbd, those rail workers got what they wanted,” I don’t want to see you acting like this isn’t exactly what you want.

And the rail workers got a fraction of what they wanted.

I’m sure that we can trust that the white house will keep working behind the scenes for these workers and get them better conditions after taking away any abilities they have to do that for themselves /s

Man, remember when people were saying that unironically a few years ago?

And then spent all of 2024 lying that biden was doing anything to pressure netanyahu “behind the scenes.”

“Behind the scenes” was always a lie.

Kinda upset that no one makes a big deal about connecting the rail strikes with the East Palestine incident. Like, the president interferes with a union negotiation, revokes their right to strike in order to “save Christmas,” then a major incident occurs three months later because the boss ordered the workers to ignore safety issues while transferring hazardous chemicals. To me, this seems like low hanging fruit to rile up voters and start pushing for change, but it all just… faded away.
