I dunno… It’s wearing a little more makeup I suppose. It has more dumb user things working out of the box, last I checked. Differentiating them has worked well enough for me that I haven’t done a deep comparison in many years.

One category missed though, is oldsters like me who started on slack or yggdrassyl, lived on Debian for a decade, and moved to Mint because, eh, feck it, I don’t want to think about configs anymore.

That said, I use mint for my daily, and Debian for anything that does headless work.

They did more than that, their bathroom got blown up by a religious nut over their inclusive bathroom policy, and they re-opened without changing their policy.

They advocated internally for LGBTQ people especially trans people.

That’s why this absolute cave, spinning about-face so fast they could start a fire without matches… this is so fucking dumb.

And the people who see it are justifiably disgusted.

Prison rape is never funny. It’s traumatic, violent, and life destroying.

Giving hand jobs to potential rapists in order to appease them in advance is neither consentual nor funny.
