I doubt it would have changed anything.
This is why I keep asking people how to find good indie games which have flown under the radar because they haven’t gone viral but it genuinely feels like the people who seemingly do this regularly are either gatekeeping how they find them or are just full of shit.
I keep seeing this sentiment and I have to ask - did you play any new weapons at all?
Back when I was a teenager, I put something like 12,500 hours into one character in an MMO. I had six or so total characters.
What exactly are they looking to be able to achieve, though? How are they expecting to make a powerful handheld machine which improves on the PS5 AND the Steamdeck?
Thank goodness that telling people they cannot have something means that they immediately comply rather than doing everything in their power to circumvent the obstacles you put in front of them.
Although subtle, there is a very slight difference between “right wing party drifting even further to the right to court voters sympathetic to fascism to line the pockets of themselves and their friends” and “firmly centrist but pretending not to be party drifting even further to the right to court voters sympathetic to fascism to line the pockets of themselves and their friends”.
Not super keen on the bombardment of cutscenes so far in 4, but it’s still pretty neat.
This isn’t a spoiler but I need to warn you: the final cutscene is 40 minutes long with no break/checkpoint and you can only save your game after, not before or during. Literally everyone who goes into the game blind ends up trapped there late at night wanting to go to bed.
Possibly one of the best soundtracks of all time.
More testing of what? How to do basic market research so you don’t release a full priced game in a space where the thriving competitors are free to play?
It’s also very important to remember that AAA doesn’t refer to quality; it’s terminology borrowed from financial products to indicate how safe an investment it is to generate a return.
A specifically negative and demeaning connotation which isn’t necessary.
I haven’t tried with a controller yet, I’m still wicked early in the game because I started to feel overwhelmed and a little obsessive. Need to make sure I can jump back into it at a time where I won’t forget to eat or drink!
You’d run faster with your knife out.
It really depends on the kind of shooter and the average caffeine intake of the people playing it. Works great in Titanfall but doesn’t make sense for Battlefield.
They could have taken out “sweaty” and kept the same meaning but that probably wouldn’t have driven the same engagement.
You should definitely consider playing Hell Let Loose!
They could be referring to those weird features in Win11 where it records what you type and takes periodic screenshots.
