LousyCornMuffins@lemmy.worldto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•And they even get a seizure when you take their ipads awayEnglish19·2 hours agoi mean, if they were wearing headphones the kid’d still be blasting it. it saves the kid’s hearing at a minor social cost. tinnitus really sucks and if the parents have to take measures to prevent it, i’ll take being annoyed for a few minutes to keep someone else from getting tinnitus. it’s beyond a fair trade.
i tried this on my wife and got a good chuckle. her response was “i did? wait!” then i got a light punch on the shoulder and a smooch so it was worth it
