I think this is possibly also the problem for me. I compulsively explore, and the more a game has to explore the higher the chances I’ll get tired of it before I even finish it.

If Id rather watch a movie or a show I would watch a movie or a show. No, I just don’t like backtracking.
Or more specifically my playstyle forces me back track a lot since I tend to become a systemic explorer, trying to find every nook and cranny of a game due to fomo. I tend to prefer more railroaded experience these days, due to that but that’s not the same as wanting to be a spectator instead of a participant.
I love souls games, but other than Blasphemous and Dead Cells, I have struggled to stick with Metroidvanias a lot. I find that they are open in the worst way possible for me, because I can get lost and then spend time “progressing” only to find the way blocked and having to backtrack. These days I have low tolerance for wasting time, or more specifically to the feeling that I’m wasting time.
I haven’t played the first one for more than 10 minutes but bro there’s no way these games can be that good.
I’m not a good barometer for this since I pretty much like everything, but I like them. I just bought some vegetarian bacon and it was good. I’m not quite ready to stop eating meat, and I probably won’t ever fully stop, but I do plan on reducing it greatly over the next few years. I’m starting with pork since it’s the easiest one for me (bacon is about the only pork I eat regularly), cow is next, and then chicken which is the hardest one for me but it’s also the ones who suffer the most. I’m starting to buy cage free only eggs. I know the birds still live in bad conditions, but at least they are better conditions somewhat than overcrowded cages.
I am looking for ethical farmers near me and I think I might have found one but I need to visit to make sure.
I do wish lab grown meats become viable soon but in the US, these so called capitalists are already moving to impede progress and market adoption.
Isn’t that Cascadia?
I’ve thought about doing porn.
Not because of the money itself, but because I would love to fuck all day every day. Getting paid is just a bonus. I’m in good shape and I’m generally attractive. I could do it but I’m afraid of judgement.
I do something different every week, but my “lazy” lunch prep for the week is chicken breast w/ cottage cheese and I throw in some taco seasoning. You can make your own and it’s super easy and lets you control sodium but when I’m extra lazy I just use store bought. Then you can throw that into some tortillas or taco shells. I prefer tortillas, high fiber just cause I like eating as much fiber as I can.
For the chicken it’s basically: -Cut chicken -Season with salt and pepper -Throw chicken in pan with some oil (I use olive, I know you shouldn’t but I don’t think I heat it enough to be a problem plus I just use a little bit) -When chicken is cooked, add 1 cup of cottage cheese, wait til it melts a little and then add taco seasoning.
You can add onions and peppers, and you can add some garlic while cooking, the chicken but it’s all purely optional.
Should take 40 minutes tops for 5 portions.
Didn’t your parents teach you to never leave the house without your pocket bologna? sheesh
Society is not the state. Society are your fellow human beings.
I was also never positioning this in terms of costs.
You seem to be pretty good at misrepresenting arguments so I’m just gonna stop replying now since it is clear you will not engage in good faith.
But there is a very high component of personal responsibility in health. Two things can be true at the same time, and in this case we have a personal responsibility to be as healthy as it is possible not only for our own good but for the greater good of society since good diet, exercise etc all improve your immune system, your mental health etc which affects society at large as much as you as an individual.
It’s 50/50 really.
Ok but when did I ever say that they are equally bad or anything of the like? I said very specifically “the democrats are not any better in this respect”.
In this respect.
Once more: In this respect.
Reading comprehension.
Also partisanship of any kind is disgusting. Thats the real problem in American politics, the abhorrent tribalism fed by the two party system. No progress will happen while you continue to feed this system because both sides are not willing to solve the underlying root issues. Both just want to put bandaids on problems and continue to preserve their power. If the democrats know they will always have your vote no matter what, they have no reason to fix any issues. Which is why for the past few decades they have solved jack shit. So vote democrat but just like MAGA isn’t afraid to vote out their so called RINOs you should not be afraid to put a boot in the ass of democrats that only serve corporate interests.
I really resent the implication that democrats are any different in this respect.
And I’m telling you Trump already fired her and installed a interim director.
This is like old news, Trump already fired her.
I’m in for the story. The combat is ok I guess. I like turn based and I like souls games but this system feels somewhat unfair to me, it is almost inevitable for me not to take hits when fighting an enemy for the first time.
I’m enjoying it but it quite hasnt gripped me like people say. I was expecting more? I don’t know what Inwss expecting though the combat is enjoyable. I recon I’m about halfway through it.
Precisely how many conservatives excuse Trumps actions. And they are right, the executive branch has been accumulating power for decades and enforcing rules selectively. Trump is simply more transparent about it than any other before him.
Decriminalizing is not the way. The only way is legalizing sale, manufacture and distribution of drugs. That way you can:
A) control quality standards B) extract taxes to pay for rehabilitation programs C) eliminate black market and thus lower crime rate
The perfect, literally perfect, case study is alcohol. It was prohibited without eliminating the underlying demand, so what happened? The black market supplied the demand. What is happening nowadays? Alcohol consumption in the US is at its lowest levels.
That was the idea but these federalists man, they keep giving power to the central government and then complain about dictatorship, autocracy and other centralized government problems.
