I run an older sff office PC with ryzen 3400g. I don’t have any issues running whatever I want on it. I don’t play AAA games or fps so it’s fine.

Accommodation requests have to be reasonable. If the wheelchair won’t physically fit in the car then you can’t force the driver to drive an accessible vehicle at all times. That would be unreadonable. Though they can’t deny rides to people if the wheelchair could fit in the trunk or whatever.

I seriously hope that he doesn’t have some kind of mental health issue because Kennedy will have a big excuse to come after anyone who has a mental health diagnosis no matter how minor their condition is.

It was stock Ubuntu. Everything was working fine for a long time. The only thing I can think of is that I was trying to get rdp going last week so I could access my main PC from a thin client in my garage. Maybe I got “hacked”? Otherwise it could be some issue with the PC, a used hp business pc, nothing special. When I first tried to load the fedora image it did the same thing, other recovery images from medicat worked. Then later trying the fedora image worked. I also reseated ram and ssd, unplugging everything and trying different monitors, etc. before trying anything else.

Everything seems fine now, I just need to install all of my applications again.

Back in the day you could book computer time at the local library in my town. I would walk to the library by myself so I could play Oregon trail on an apple iie. Honestly I’m glad that kids have access to the equivalent of the Library of Alexandria in their pocket, but I do miss the days of pre social media and the 24 hour news cycle.
