i find it hard to say terf island has gotten worse since the 1950s.

I meant since 2013, because yeah, it did get better for a little while. And now they’re policing the bathrooms.

And it wasn’t until late 2013 that he was pardoned for the crime of “being gay”, and ironically TERF island has only gotten worse since then.

Oh man, “The Mink Scandal” has filled a lot in Danish news during covid-19 where the prime minister Mette Frederiksen ordered all mink in Denmark to be culled in order to prevent the spread of a new covid-19 variant (it worked btw.). Now the problem was that she didn’t have the power to do so which ended in massive payouts to the mink farmers (€2.1-2.5 billion), kind of “hush money”, and what’s worse is that they didn’t make it illegal to start up mink farms again, which as we all know is an incredibly inhumane practice.
So, a lot of mink farmers started up new farms even though we already kind of knew it’d eventually become illegal via EU law, so I’m wondering what’ll happen this time, whether they’ll get more compensation or what. It just seems so shortsighted and dumb that it wasn’t just made illegal in 2020 or 2021. Source 1, Source 2

This felt more like a Fallout article than Mass Effect, and that’s probably for the best. I’m still not certain Mass Effect can hold up to Fallout as it’s a much more linear story. But maybe they’ll surprise us.
And let’s hope they cast Seth Green as someone, even if it’s just an easter egg.

Even here in the heart of Europe, Denmark, there’s not many that really care enough unless you run your own tracker. Back in the day with CD’s and DVD’s it was a lot worse though, because it’s obviously easier to catch someone when there’s physical media involved.

The closest to Arch, a rolling cutting edge distro, is probably openSUSE Tumbleweed. openSUSE has excellent snapper integration that takes a snapshot before and after you touch zypper, so it’s easy to undo changes that might ruin your system. CachyOS also has that same great snapper integration, but that’s still Arch.

Brodie interviewed the creator of Anubis a little while back, it’s pretty good.

That’s certainly a concern for some, but I’m using like 30 GB for all the things I’ve installed, which is a lot (12 (flatpak-system), 76 (flatpak-user)) but that’s on a 2 TB drive, which amounts to like 1½% of the total available space. I don’t think that’s a bad trade.

Isn’t it a bit of a phenomenon that a baby boom takes place 9 months after big blackouts like these? So Janury/February next year will be interesting.
