  • Protests are not about a single day changing anything. Ideally that’d be great, but protests require constant work. Georgia (the county) has its citizens protesting in the streets for over 200 days day. Protests bring like minded people together. Those people connect. Make plans. Make arrangements for further protests and so on. It’s not about “winning” a single day. It’s about constant, persistent pressure in the form of protests that may eventually let the people when, if/when a gov’t backs down. I don’t discourage protesting, but I don’t trust this regime to not cart people away in unmarked vans. Again.

  • They are doing more damage with all their other nefarious shit going around or ignoring Congress/judges/scotus/etc, we’re still in a really, really fucked up place right now and it’s still only going to get worse for the average person.

It’ll take at least the next 2-4 years to start to show tangible devastating affects that will get millions of Americans killed with stripping away healthcare, food/snap programs, children’s cancer research being scrapped, and a list of 100 other programs being cut, gutted,or flat out just gone now and some of those programs may never come back. Shit ain’t over just cuz Congress put their feet up on the desk. Stay sharp, stay focused.
