Shirasho@lemmings.worldto Programming@programming.dev•Which is more important to you in a language, feature richness or documentation quality?3·12 days agoDepends on the intuitiveness of the UX. When it comes to API, as both a developer and an end user I would rather have it fully documented than have to spend hours digging through forums to figure out if something is even supported.
With that said, as much as I hate it, features lead to sales. When someone is shopping for a product they look at what it can do and whether it meets their needs. They don’t care how well documented something is. If it can’t do what they need they will look elsewhere.
Shirasho@lemmings.worldto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•How about I just find a bush outside?152·13 days agoMy bathroom door is like this at home. The idiot that had the door installed chose a door with a lock button that sticks out way too far for a door so close to the wall. You can press the lock simply by opening the door too far, and if it closes behind you, you are now locked out.
I have to keep a screwdriver near my bathroom door to unlock it.
Making the new wall is not a money generator. You would be insane if you think suits would waste money to rebuild something when it generated minimal to no additional revenue.
Any other Democratic president.
They are not allowed to charge you for this, and it was not made clear in any way that your former boss would charge you. Any lawyer worth their salt would laugh this out of court.
In many areas they are also legally obligated to give you the information you requested free of charge.

Shirasho@lemmings.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Inconsiderate fucks who litterEnglish247·2 months agoWeed smokers, vapers, and smokers in general are some of the most self-centered people I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. They think their smoke doesn’t affect anyone else and fail to understand that some people find the smell nauseating. They then proceed to litter everywhere and make their smoking everyone else’s problem.
There are obviously exceptions to the rule, but they are far and few between.

At least vote independent to make your voice heard. People will absolutely look at the third party votes, and if that percentage is rising it is going to scare the shit out of the primary parties.

Shirasho@lemmings.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Paranoid Hegseth Ordered to Quit Polygraphing Pentagon Staff34·2 months agoThis is the efficiency and professionalism of corporate America. Lack of trust in employees is one of the driving forces behind the RTO mandate. Even if employees are more productive at home they must return to the office.

They expect the large amount to be paid all at once.

Israel itself is useless. We only support it as a foothold into the middle east. As you said, anybody else could theoretically fill that role, but the reality of it is that much of the middle east hates the United States. If we lose Israel, America would have to spend a lot more to regain that foothold.
To make it perfectly clear, I am in agreement that the United States should drop them as an ally and leave the middle east alone altogether.
Shirasho@lemmings.worldto politics @lemmy.world•MAGA acolyte Marjorie Taylor Greene votes alongside Tlaib and Omar to cut US funding for Israel110·2 months agoWhy is it bipartisan? Israel is our only ally in the middle east. We lose Israel, we lose our foothold into the countries with oil.
I don’t get it. These politicians are getting all oppressive on black people then go around wearing black face? I think these politicians are jealous.
