I don’t know how to do it on Android, but look into variable bit rate (VBR) rather than 320 kb/s. 320 kb/s is a constant bit rate (CBR), and means that silence is given the same quality and detail as the busiest track, and takes up space for no reason.
The highest VBR setting, V0, is indistinguishable from 320, but saves space. Depending on your ears and the phone speakers, you might be able to drop the quality slightly and save more space 👍

It could be good, and if it’s anything like Strange New Worlds it will be, but dropping them back to the main timeline still means that the bridge crew can’t die. There was an episode early on in Strange New Worlds where I think it was Spock, Uhura, and another crew member were in danger. We immediately knew that Spock and Uhura couldn’t die or be seriously injured, and it took a lot of the tension out of the episode, for me at least.
It’s not really a prequel then though, they’re just using existing characters for their own story. At that point, write new characters too.
It’s not just that either. In a prequel, certain things have to happen, and certain things can’t happen. The Enterprise is never in danger of being destroyed, and the TOS crew can’t die or otherwise leave.
To add to this, I’ve been looking for a cheap kid’s tablet recently, and checked Amazon. A significant number of products have the details listed incorrectly. Some are obvious, like mistaking storage and RAM, but some would have the details completely wrong, saying something like ‘purple’ for the screen, or ‘10 inches’ for the wifi capability.
An AI isn’t going to be able to figure out what should be where from that, so you’d have to manually check every product. If Amazon can’t get it right, what chance do you have?

You set the whitelist in Minecraft, and it uses your ID. I can’t remember exactly what Minecraft calls it, your player ID maybe. It doesn’t matter where you connect from then, as long as you’re logged in. I think it works the same way with pirated accounts too, but I haven’t got any here to check.
For the firewall, I’ve just been checking through the Minecraft log every now and then and banning the obvious bots and scanners, so that shouldn’t affect you either :)
We connect directly via IP at my friend’s house and only we are on the server, so no worries of griefers or internet randos.
Just in case you haven’t already, set up a whitelist. I’ve got a server running the same way, and I regularly get people trying to connect. I’ve also set up the firewall and blocked known scanners, but still get a few attempts.

I think at least part of the problem has been the built in expiry date, and the fact that so many off brand Chromebooks are absolute shit. They have tiny screens and low specs, and struggle with multiple web pages open.
I fancied one myself to take out and about, as I do most of my work on my PC, but they all seemed to have under 13 inch screens, and a five year shelf life. I like to research my family tree, so have a few tabs open, but the lack of memory would kill them and make it painful to do.

People want something simple. Something that just runs the basics and automatically backs up online and invisibly.
The vast majority of people don’t need to have the choice of 17 different browsers, or 43 office suites, and they certainly don’t need the terminal or Powershell, or anything else. They just need a browser and a way to maybe write a letter and view photos. Maybe a way for the kids to do their homework. If their laptop spontaneously combusts, they want to be able to sign into a new one and have everything put back as it was automatically.
ChromeOS is perfect for them, apart from being a Google product. It’s something we tend to miss because we’re technically minded, but most people don’t care about computers, and don’t want what we want. They want an appliance. If someone created that system with privacy built in, it could be great :)
I can’t remember if it was the exact same procedure, but I’ve had something very similar when I had a bladder biopsy done, but I’m going to beat you on making someone else uncomfortable :D
For anyone who doesn’t know, these procedures start with an anaesthetic gel being squirted into your penis through a syringe to numb everything, then the camera and tools get inserted. It’s been a while, but from what I remember, some air gets pushed in along with everything else. The nurse warned me that the air coming out can be uncomfortable. I also had to have a pretty full bladder for the procedure.
Afterwards, I needed to pee straight away, so used the toilet next to the waiting room. When I went, it burned a bit from the gel wearing off and everything just generally being tender. Suddenly though, I had this feeling of intense pressure, and a fireball forced its way out followed by some boiling pee. I used my free hand to steady myself, and my knees almost buckled. I let out an involuntary ‘Jesus Christ!’. I finished and cleaned up, and the nurse met me outside the door.
She had a huge grin on her face, and said ‘I told you it would sting’, then nodded towards the waiting room, where about half a dozen terrified looking men had apparently heard me :D
I’m in the UK, and I’ve had decent laptops from rapidIT and ITZoo, both .co.uk as far as I remember. I can’t remember which laptop I got from Rapid as it was a few years ago, but the first one had a faulty motherboard, and they swapped the laptop with no issues.
I had a Stonebook branded Clevo N750BU from ITZoo, which is an i7 based laptop, and Mint works perfectly on it. It’s quite old now, so you’ll probably get a newer one for your budget, but with a RAM upgrade it runs everything I throw at it. I use it for designing and editing logos in Inkscape and Krita, and for editing a website in html, css, and javascript, so anything newer should do it even better :)
