I’ve always enjoyed computers. Said I didn’t want to do it for work, because it would make it less fun.
I was actively looking at becoming a paramedic when I got a job working with IT because it came easy and natural to me. I’ve been doing it for years now. I don’t find it nearly as entertaining as I used to, but I’ll admit that’s not because of work. I’d rather just work on cars all day as a hobby instead. Or sewing or embroidery.
I’m so sick of them talking about doing stuff. Stop giving the opponents time to prepare, just fucking so the things we need to do to stop the fascists.
A leader has to inspire people to join and follow. Inspiration to have the courage to stand up and put your life at risk. So yes, inspire. It takes a lot to convince someone that the risk they are taking is worth it and that it has a good chance to pay off.
The resistance could use leaders with experience and the know how to organize, supply, and inspire. Not everyone can be a leader.
At this point it’s just that a thing changed from “back in my day.”
I think reading the manual gives you the concept of what something is capable of doing. No one is saying memorize all the commands and their flags.
But if you read all of them, maybe some day you’ll have a problem and realize, wait… I’ve seen something like this before. And you can then look up the specifics.
They control the purse. No visits, no funds.
They need to put pay stoppages on everything. No vendors, no contractors, no salaries. Operate within the legislative model or don’t operate at.
Maybe not the best word choices. But I don’t think they’re problems without knowing more about their relationship. Sometimes parenting you have to be hard and direct. You don’t always give choices, now I know they are 22 and that makes it a little weird. But parenting doesn’t exactly stop when someone turns 18.
And “evolve” wouldn’t have been so strange if it were replaced with “grow”. It sounds more like “push yourself out of your comfort zone.”
I think so, but I really can’t remember exactly. I mostly remember playing shufflepuck cafe on it when I was young. The next computer we had was a Macintosh 7100. Before getting a gateway years later.
I’m pretty sure I still have some 3.5" floppies from them.
I wanna say my first PC that I used a was an Amiga with similar i/o as this: I remember that mouse connector vividly.

It’s almost like the base document can be loaded without annotations and never change. Then have the annotations load separately on top of the base page preventing even this odd “could be a tech issue” problem.
Don’t accept their blaming tech for it. There is no reason that those annotations should even have been updated at this particular point anyway.

It’s a lot better than other fast food burgers. But it’s a pretty basic, straight forward burger. It’s fresh ingredients, done simply. And it’s why everyone loves it.
I know of a few places near me where they serve nearly identical burgers, and I love those too.
