Granted, we were poor, so the tech we hooked up to the tv was a bit behind. I was hype as fuck to finally have a copy of The Guardian Legend for NES while my best friend was playing mario sunshine.
I think I had the better childhood.

If a major company ripped everything from me because “reasons”, I’d be considering homicide instead.
By the way, git is good for more than just software. I keep my novel notes in a git repository these days.

something that’s true of most hobbies I’ve looked into: always start with the cheap shit tools/materials because you won’t really understand why the expensive shit is good until you’ve had some experience.
At my level of experience (essentially none) I’d get similar results if I was using copic or crayola.
