That’s probably the idea. We should agree that weather modification is bad, pass these bills, then turn around and define oil and gas operations as activity designed to modify weather.
Sounds pretty on brand to me
People don’t deserve to be murdered
I don’t think I agree with such a blanket statement. I don’t know exactly how to define where the line should be but I have no problem saying that there are definitely people alive who don’t deserve to be.
Well yeah, that’s pretty obviously the point of this post
Some of these facilities do generate a significant portion of their own electricity via various means. It’s not like that amount of energy is just sitting out there on the grid waiting to be used. Somebody has to generate it and if you’re already investing millions in rectifiers, batteries, and other data center power systems, why wouldn’t you consider taking it a step further?
That just means you don’t have any good secrets
If they’re coming for us anyway then give them a middle finger instead of a whimper. Wear your buttplug with pride.
Which version of Republican voters decided to vote for someone less awful than the candidate before?
That isn’t an irrelevant point. Not because Trump was falsely added to the Epstein files but because it’s yet another angle the Biden DOJ could have taken to do something consequential about Trump. Instead they repeatedly stalled and chose to pursue only the most trivial of accusations with any real sense of urgency, apparently hoping that ignoring the problem would make it go away, or at least buy them some political goodwill. Now we’re all stuck dealing with the fallout of treating a traitor with kid gloves.
I know it’s wishful thinking, but the [current issue in the news] obsession of the MAGA base may end up crumbling more than just the current GOP.
I have heard some variation of this countless times over the last 20 years, especially since Trump was a relevant politician. The only consistent thread connecting those incidents has been that they’ve never turned out to be anything of consequence. Republican voters vote for Republicans. They always have and they always will. This will not change that fact.
Yeah, because he was so subdued before this nickname came along and inflamed the situation.
That was a terrible movie. It went so far up it’s own ass that it came out it’s mouth, twisted around it’s body, and went back up it’s ass a second time.
I’m sure he’s absolutely devastated to have to tell another obvious lie.
Yes, those billions of dollars are sure to cause untold sadness among the shareholders.
Technically it was invented by Xerox then developed for the military. The 1990s version of the internet was more akin to what you described but I wouldn’t say it was designed with that in mind.
What are you talking about? Things seem to be rapidly deteriorating to me. There are no problems being rectified.
Not if we start hanging those who take bribes. In fact, I’d argue that the reason for most of what’s happening right now is that politicians and the rich are not at all scared of being dragged out of their homes by an angry mob and hanged for their crimes against humanity. You can’t craft perfect anti-corruption laws. Making them fear retribution from the people would work better than any fine or potential jail term.
Is that functionally different in your mind? Perhaps it is slightly different if we assume they’re going to stop here and not take it any further but that seems obviously untrue so I’m not sure why the distinction matters.
