Reading the Wyoming legislator refer to internet users who viewed objectionable content as victims was a trip. What a bunch of snowflakes.

Ranked choice voting and proportional representation in National and state government, then townships are the local representation. Even then voters could rank councilors and petition as their ideology aligns.

Proportional representation would require ranked choice voting, which is another reform the US sorely needs. If the US had ranked choice voting then each state could be its own district and you would find the candidate that most resonates with your values. Then township seats would be used for local representation. State legislature could also be ranked similarly to National elections.

Assigning a politician who is accountable to a specific group of people is important. The people can petition one person with requests.

Physical landmarks like rivers and mountains would be best, but even county lines would be good.

Choice doesn’t matter until districting is codified into law with standards and a non partisan organization to oversee it. Until that tune comes, Democrats have been taking the high road for 50 years and losing the entire time.

Go ahead and read again what I wrote. I haven’t killed anyone, don’t plan to, don’t want to, and can’t control anyone who does.

And we can only do that with a coalition of people to support that cause. Blaming and segmenting people for existing does nothing but weaken the base of support.

Democrats are where they are because they like following rules. Republicans have an objective and want to see it finished. Following rules and decorum for 60 years has gotten Democrats nowhere. Democrats have to play by Republican standards otherwise the results will keep getting worse.
