It is nearly impossible to track down and file court orders for if your lucky non-profits in other countries.
Like I don’t think there are many people that host Mastodon instances that will listen to a court order out of the goodness of there heart.

I would love to see an open standard for transactions that can come with the same protections or similar that you can get with credit cards for fraud.

I don’t want to see Europe just recreate the American tech industry. What we need is open source tools that either companies can host or that a few different small to medium cloud providers can host.
Not collect data that can identify people. Yes you have to operate within the law BUT you can avoid collecting data that identifies people. Also you can explain what data you collect and not pretend to be perfect.

I almost garrentee this was an intimidation technique. I feel like if you actually wanted to arrest him and not just scare his wife and children, you could have surveilled him and easily figured out that he left for work.
Pathetic
My advice if you want something with changing some habits that is pretty good Graphine OS would be a good option. I’ve been running for close to 3 months at this point I think. If you run the right apps it can be decently private and isn’t a huge inconvenience.
It’s really down to how much time you have and how inconvenientced you want to be. Generally the more secure something is the less convenient it can be. I find Graphine with FOSS apps and other secure services to fit what I want and need.
How “premium drip” of are we talking?
