Just deflecting over and over, putting up walls and wondering why no one lets you in
Dude, you know nothing about me, and are bringing your preconceived judgments and inferring tones that don’t exist. “You’re coming from a place of privilege” by doing something free that you can do anywhere and don’t need to own or have anything? Something that underpins the spiritual practice of over a billion people across the world of every socioeconomic status? Fuck that.
I recognize you’re not in a place to be ready to try because I’ve been there, and because you’ve approached this adversarially from the beginning. Hell yes I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished, and I absolutely want to share that with people who I think would benefit from it. Then here you show up to shit on me, and have the gall to accuse me of being self serving and out of touch?
I would like to reflect back at you that you’ve responded to everything I’ve said with negativity and sarcasm.
You’re not in a space where you’re ready to try, and that’s ok. When I started, it was very difficult for me to tolerate trying, but in the end, all I ever did was what I was able to do with where I was at, 30 minutes once per week, and it made a huge difference for me. Let me know if you want any tips on how to approach meditation.

I used to get really annoyed by noises that were out of my control, but after years of meditation practice, I learned to accept them (among other things) and am a much happier person. Just remember that these parts of you aren’t fixed and can change if you want them to, or sometimes totally unintentionally.

People let their dogs play in the water off-leash, and (this is going to sound really judgmental, but) the crowd is generally trashier. Pay the $5 to go inside Barton Springs Pool.
I hope we can find and arrest these guys, they don’t belong free in our city

Dallas and Austin require air conditioning in units, while Houston landlords are only required to provide a cooling system if there are no screens on a unit’s doors and windows.
At least there’s this, until the state steps in and makes it illegal for cities to require AC

We’re not talking about drinking the water dripping from your AC. Ensuring this water is drinkable is remarkably simple.
Not only that, but Clostridium botulinum only grows in anaerobic environments, so it isn’t even a remote concern in this case. That’s why you don’t hear about it much outside of canned food or instances where it’s purposefully cultivated for medical applications.
