I don’t see why people hate Spotify so much. I used to go out and pay £10 for an album decades ago, multiple times a month sometimes. Now I can basically listen to anything for the price of an album a month. Plus, you can play Spotify on just about any device, even all the open source solutions that Netflix blocked like 15 years ago. On top of that it’s Swedish rather than American.

Im genuinely curious as to what themes and DE you’re using that looks better. In Windows everything is slick and polished, stuff slides and bounces around, the colours are consistent and work together, it’s all pretty elegant. I’m using KDE right now and all that I get is the start menu thing changes shade when I hover the mouse over it. I also use Gnome and XFCE, Gnome is pretty good and XFCE is obviously really basic.

Reaction videos I guess, but a lot of people are doing that.

I say this as a Linux user, Windows is still considerably easier to use and it certainly looks a lot slicker.

Losing

My mate had a crappy old van for his run around because it was the cheapest thing he could get his hands on, we called it the Red Enigma. My brother has a crappy old silver hatchback that was actually pretty fast and we called it the Silver Bullet.

I liked this game but the combat really killed it for me. The enemies just move too quickly and in a game about conserving ammo it was way too hard to reliably hit them.

This is ridiculous, every kid in the country will know how to start up a VPN and get around this. In another article some campaigner called Naomi is claiming there’s a big correlation between sexual abusers and viewing violent porn. That’s like saying there’s a big correlation between people who drink water and being thirsty, so water must make people thirsty. Kids start forming their impressions of women when they’re born, they don’t suddenly change from respectful young men into misogynists in the time it takes to have a wank.

She also says that by stopping people from watching porn it’ll eventually lead to porn being eradicated. She’s delusional.

Honestly, most people keep a Windows partition anyway. I have one for Fusion 360 which intermittently stops working in Bottles.

It’s hard to know what’s actually owned by Coca-Cola.

I used to love an episode where Butthead gets a nosebleed and keeps making it worse and worse, I think it was just called Nosebleed. There was another episode where he thinks he’s pregnant. I was a teenager at the time so I don’t know if they’re still funny.

Actually the film (Beavis and Butthead Do America) stills holds up. I watched about a year ago and still enjoyed it. There’s a newer film which is supposed to be really good but I haven’t watched it yet.

If he’s on the Photos team he probably deserved to be fired. The new Photos app is dogshit.

If I’m looking for news I just go to BBC. If I’m looking for news about a current event and want it quicker if less reliable I go to Sky News. I sometimes go to Fox News just to see what they’re talking about. I read other sites when I’m linked to them but if I’m just looking to see what’s happening in the world I use these.

I expect everybody came here from Reddit.
