I just thought the people on Lemmy are less interested in consuming corporate brain rot. Like seriously, the idea that AMAZON is funding a “cyberpunk” show should really be enough to turn you off.

I’m not going to sit here and shit on popular shows, but yeah these were both terrible and left me feeling like i had wasted my time.
This is very much a “the world and wrong, and I am right” sort of attitude. You may have rather idiosyncratic tastes.

Mr. Robot and Severance both are highly acclaimed by critics and audiences. They are both firmly prestige TV regardless of who funded them.
