That’s how I feel about Succession. The world is already full of actual rich assholes like the ones portrayed. I find no enjoyment watching a fictionalized show about them.

You might try “Better Call Saul”. I didn’t like Breaking Bad, but I enjoyed the spin off up until the last season. It doesn’t really rely on the other show until the final episodes.
Still number one this week. GH dropped to eleven. I’m beginning to wonder if they weren’t initially counting daily shows correctly, so they were getting “five times” the views compared to weekly episodes.
That’s too bad.

Yikes.
Where are they getting $1.5 billion from? Is this business actually profitable?
Wha? Are you telling me that people don’t watch cheap reality filler crap over and over on streaming? That they like scripted programming, that wasn’t canceled after one season?
Will there be a season 4? It feels like this show has been losing momentum to me.
Vomit.
Could’ve paid for this previously using money from the feds. But instead they turned their nose at funding that came from “Biden”. Now it will have to come from fresh Texan tax payer money.
Trump was/is widely despised in the US. Even by many in his own party. All it takes is voter apathy, a cult following, and a political machine getting behind him.
Will the mountain lion return for the reboot?
Yes! Such a fun show. There was a whole bunch of interesting content from AMC around that time that got the axe so they could spend money on endless Walking Dead spinoffs instead.
I wish Amazon would bring it back. They own the entire Stargate franchise and have stupidly done nothing with it. David Blue pointed out everyone went into hibernation in the last episode, and there are a number of people on the ship (not just the original featured cast) so it would be easy to pick back up at any time.
Fine with me. Can’t be worse than Kroger.
It’s a horrible, horrible ruling, and I hope that it drags out in appeals long enough to reach someone who actually knows what they’re doing.
Fox News will just claim that they’re entertainment, so they cannot possibly be competing with a news channel.
Pretty sure all of these were canceled due to budgetary constraints, not ratings. It’s like current network execs have never heard the term “loss leader”.
I’ll add Andor to this list even though it wasn’t “canceled”. It sure felt like it was cut short/rushed for the same reasons. Every couple of episodes of the final season felt like they could have been fleshed out into an entire 8-13 episode arc. It was great television but it still left me feeling like I got cheated.
I wonder if it’s cheaper to refine oil, or desalinate water?
