Making a movie or show about Robin Hood is essentially money laundering. That’s why there’s so many. You don’t have to pay for an IP or even try, and you can just make a shit movie like the rest of the Robin Hood movies. Who the hell even cares about Robin Hood in 2025?
Edit: there are almost 70 movie and tv adaptations of Robin Hood, not including spoofs and satire like wishbone and other tv shows
This is the first time I have ever heard of MGM+. Are they really generating so much content that they needed their own platform?
They just changed the name of Epix to MGM+.
I think it used to be Stars at one point too, but I am not sure.
