The community seems big enough across lemmy now, with a lot of active lurkers and posters. Rather than making a Google Survey like r/television does for its yearly vote - that doesn’t capture nuance and possibly provide enough shows to account for taste variety, I’ve decided to simply ask people to list their top 10 favourite shows. Your 10th choice will give the show 1 point, your 9th will give it to 2 points etc with the 1st choice getting 10 points. Eurovision style.
I’ll reply to all comments acknowledging that I’ve recorded them.
- Severance

- Normal People
- Ted Lasso
- Stranger Things
- A Series of Unfortunate Events

That Fall of Eagles looks really interesting. I wonder if I can find it on Prime.
It’s on YouTube, ex: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLc6nRGBJOjtERqVfIpPck0_YdFWwWfgsT

Fuck, this is a tough one and will most likely be all over the place:
- Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
- The Wire.
- South Park.
- Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
- Home Movies.
- Mr. Show with Bob and David.
- Gravity Falls.
- The Boondocks.
- Cowboy Bebop.
- Strangers with Candy.
You missed a number
Good because I felt bad leaving Mr. Show out. Edited, thank you for pointing it out!
Added
- Futureman
- Futurama
- South Park
- Gravity Falls
- Adventure Time
- Fairly Oddparents
- Squid Games
- All of us are dead
I can’t think of any other TV series. I guess I don’t watch a whole lot. Definitely futureman for my top show. Highly recommend if you like terrible humor.
Could easily swap some of these with like a dozen other shows, but here’s ten (edit - now with numbers!):
- Spiral (Engrenages)
- How To With John Wilson
- The White Lotus
- Deadwood
- Halt and Catch Fire
- The Knick
- The Killing
- The Wire
- Boardwalk Empire
- Severance
Is this in order? Spiral at #1?
oh sorry, yes!
